After an excellent day at Compton Abbas, I departed at 4:30 on the journey home, planning to stop at a few airfields on the way back.
My first stop was at Thruxton. A small log here, but the attraction of this place is the atmosphere provided by the motor racing circuit that surrounds the airfield. Here is what I saw:
