Bahrain 20th April 2022

After a short flight past Qatar, I arrived in Bahrain five minutes before I left Dubai, a few minutes before midnight.

I was soon through the transit check and in the main terminal. Most of the people on the flight from Dubai seemed like me to be transiting through Bahrain back to Europe, and it made for a busy couple of hours in the terminal despite it being the middle of the night. Bahrain is very much dominated by Gulf Air though, and with the exception of the local freight carriers, there was little of interest around:

A9C-FE was the ride home - a delay of an hour made for a late 0735 arrival back at Heathrow and a long queue to get back through immigration, but it was a very successful trip, with lots of interesting aircraft having gone into the book.
